Key Responsibilities
As a WTW Non-Life Associate Director, you will:
- Lead non-life actuarial projects including IFRS17 implementations, liability valuation, mergers & acquisitions support, product pricing, and reinsurance optimization.
- Manage project teams, guide work streams, and ensure high-quality delivery on client engagements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop innovative actuarial tools, processes, and market solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, introducing WTW offerings to deliver value-added solutions.
- Mentor and develop junior colleagues, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to revenue generation, research, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with WTW values: Client Focus, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.
- Support cross-border projects across Asia Pacific and Europe as required.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in non-life actuarial roles at insurance companies or consulting/financial services firms.
- Fully qualified actuary (Institute of Actuaries of India or IFoA, UK).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and actuarial software such as Prophet, RAFM.
- Proven knowledge of IFRS17 implementation and technical actuarial concepts including reserving, pricing, and embedded values.
- Experience with coding/scripting in VBA, Python, SQL, or PowerShell.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to develop innovative, out-of-the-box solutions and manage client expectations.
- Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
