WTW is seeking experienced AI Engineers in Kolkata and Siliguri, West Bengal to develop cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to design, implement, and deploy deep learning models, generative AI (GenAI), and large language models (LLMs) while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have strong expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and AI frameworks, with hands-on experience in data processing, natural language processing, and AI model deployment in large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

AI Development & Model Optimization

• Develop, test, and optimize deep learning and neural network models to improve business operations.
• Design and implement custom AI architectures for specific tasks and business requirements.
• Deploy AI solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and workflows.

Data Processing & Visualization

• Build and maintain robust data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
• Process, analyze, and visualize complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality and compliance with industry standards.

Natural Language Processing & GenAI

• Enhance NLP capabilities to automate processes and improve communication workflows.
• Apply Generative AI (GenAI) and LLMs for scalable AI solutions.
• Work on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and Vector Database concepts to support advanced AI applications.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define AI objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
• Support cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, high-quality AI solutions.

AI Security & Compliance

• Ensure all AI implementations comply with industry security standards and ethical AI guidelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain secure AI model deployments.

Required Skills & Competencies

• 5+ years of experience as an AI Developer, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and AI frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, LangChain.
• Hands-on experience in deep learning, NLP, GenAI, and large language models.
• Expertise in neural network architectures, model optimization, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of RAG, Vector Databases, and AI deployment in enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record of developing, deploying, and maintaining AI models from concept to production.
• Strong understanding of mathematical principles underlying AI algorithms.
