Kroll is seeking a Consultant in Offensive Security based in India to join our APAC Offensive Security team. This role focuses on penetration testing, cloud security, and red team engagements for some of the world’s largest enterprises. The ideal candidate will leverage cutting-edge offensive security tools, methodologies, and frameworks to identify and remediate cybersecurity risks across applications, networks, cloud infrastructure, and employee systems. Key Responsibilities

Offensive Security Engagements

  • Execute penetration tests across web applications, APIs, mobile platforms, networks, cloud infrastructure, and hardware devices.
  • Conduct red team assessments and social engineering exercises to evaluate organizational security posture.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and provide actionable recommendations for mitigation.
  • Draft and deliver high-quality technical and executive reports summarizing findings.

Client Interaction & Consultation

  • Engage directly with clients to understand requirements, present results, and address cybersecurity inquiries.
  • Offer consultative guidance on risk remediation and security enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and improve security assessment methodologies.

Continuous Learning & Skill Development

  • Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, attack vectors, and defensive strategies.
  • Participate in internal knowledge sharing, training, and security community initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing technologies and client environments.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity; minimum 1 year in penetration testing, cloud security, or red teaming.
  • Strong knowledge of offensive security methodologies and frameworks: OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, PTES, etc.
  • Ability to analyze root causes and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT/Network Administration.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Familiarity with web, mobile, network, and cloud security tools.
