Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Data Gathering
- Conduct client interviews and gather relevant financial and operational data.
- Build strong client relationships to understand engagement requirements.
Project & Engagement Management
- Oversee end-to-end project execution and engagement economics.
- Lead valuation projects including business enterprise valuations, PPAs, stock option valuations, impairment testing, transaction valuations, and financial instrument valuations.
Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Develop and review DCF models, comparable company models, intangible asset valuation models, and complex option models.
- Conduct research on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor performance to inform valuation decisions.
Reporting & Review
- Prepare high-quality valuation reports with clear insights and recommendations.
- Review team outputs for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to Kroll standards.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor valuation associates and analysts, fostering professional growth.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely delivery and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 9–13 years of professional experience in financial valuation or advisory.
- Advanced expertise in valuation concepts, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong financial modeling skills using Excel and valuation platforms such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Education: Chartered Accountant, Master’s in Finance/Accounting, or MBA Finance preferred.
