Summary

Kroll is hiring an Associate Vice President – Decision Intelligence in New Delhi to lead advanced AI, Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, and Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives. This client-facing role focuses on applying data science, Python programming, and AI/LLM models to deliver actionable insights across industries such as financial services, healthcare, consumer, and retail. The AVP will scale Kroll’s Data, Analytics, and AI practice, drive automation in due diligence and analytics workflows, and mentor junior team members. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 8–12 years of AI/ML experience and M&A advisory expertise to shape global decision intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize AI/GenAI, ML, and NLP solutions, including APIs using Python.
• Handle large-scale datasets and develop analytics models and automation tools for decision intelligence.
• Apply advanced GenAI models (GPT-4, GPT-4o, Llama) and vector DB / RAG-based AI architectures.
• Lead buy/sell-side M&A engagements, identifying analytics-driven value creation opportunities.
• Deliver and manage mid-to-large-sized projects, ensuring timely execution and high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across regions and coordinate between technology and business teams.
• Prepare demo tools and presentations for client engagements and pre-sales activities.
• Mentor and review work of junior data scientists and analysts, supporting skill development and knowledge transfer.
• Advise stakeholders on data-driven business decisions and technical solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Participate in financial, accounting, and M&A analytics, including quality of earnings, scenario modeling, and optimization.
• Uphold Kroll’s code of ethics and professional conduct in all client and internal interactions.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proven experience in AI/GenAI, ML, LLMs, and Python programming.
• Strong understanding of M&A processes, due diligence, and financial analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Azure-based deployments and foundational knowledge of Azure Cognitive Services.
• Expertise in statistical techniques, regression, classification, forecasting, and optimization models.
• Familiarity with data platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client engagement skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members, while managing multiple workstreams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to changing client needs.
• Willingness to travel as needed and work within a dynamic M&A and advisory environment.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in AI, ML, Deep Learning, LLMs, and data science applications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in LLM/NLP techniques.
• 4+ years of experience with Azure-based AI/ML deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a tier-1 college (Master’s in Business or domain specialization preferred).
• Experience in programming, BI, data analysis, and enterprise systems.
• Supervisory experience with a focus on team mentoring and scaling data science practices.
