Key Responsibilities
As a SAFe Scrum Master at Deloitte, you will:
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Coach Agile Teams: Guide teams in Agile best practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and Lean-Agile principles.
- Remove Roadblocks: Identify and resolve impediments impacting delivery.
- Promote Collaboration: Align Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership with clear communication.
- Support Product Ownership: Help refine and prioritize product backlog items.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement feedback loops, retrospectives, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
- Agile Maturity & Transformation: Foster an Agile mindset, organizational adaptability, and cultural change.
- Engineering Support: Collaborate with engineering teams to encourage DevOps, TDD, CI/CD, and automation practices.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively address risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Motivate & Lead Teams: Create a psychologically safe environment, encourage problem-solving, and drive delivery excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 6–9 years overall; 5+ years as a Scrum Master (SAFe projects).
- Certifications: Leading SAFe 6.0 certification and CSM/PSM required; PMP®, Agile, or SAFe advanced certifications preferred.
- Agile Methodologies: Hands-on experience with Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean Agile.
- Project Tools: Proficiency in JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile project tools.
- Technical Exposure: Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) – agile, hybrid, and waterfall.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or MBA.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, mentoring, and conflict resolution abilities.
