Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 L3/L4 support for SAP systems across hyperscalar platforms and on-premises SAP data centers.
- Act as the escalation point for critical production issues, adhering to change management protocols.
- Optimize server operations and workflows using automation tools and scripts for improved efficiency and reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cloud services, scalability, security, and performance for SAP applications.
- Collaborate with multinational teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud services tailored to SAP applications.
- Design and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and maintain compliance with SLAs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in Linux (RedHat/SUSE) and Windows server administration.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, and firewall configurations.
- Expertise in network services like DNS, LDAP, HTTP proxies.
- Hands-on experience managing hyperscalar compute, storage, and network infrastructure (VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, NSGs, NAT gateways).
- Proficiency in containerization and Kubernetes cluster management.
- Skilled in automation and monitoring tools such as Ansible, Nagios, Prometheus, ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of IT security practices and OS hardening techniques.
- Proficient in scripting languages like PowerShell, Linux Shell, Python, Perl, or Go.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Education
- MBA, BBA, BSc, MSc, BCom, or BTech from a recognized institution.
