Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Analytics
- Act as a strategic data advisor, developing innovative solutions from concept to execution.
- Design, train, and optimize machine learning models using appropriate algorithms and validation techniques.
- Build and maintain automated ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data processing and delivery.
- Develop scalable data models for structured and unstructured data using big data platforms.
- Oversee data acquisition, cleaning, integration, and governance to ensure high-quality datasets.
- Perform complex data analysis and generate actionable insights to guide strategic business decisions.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders to visualize and interpret data.
Project Management
- Lead teams in planning, executing, and monitoring data-driven projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and goals.
- Identify roadblocks and implement solutions to maintain project momentum.
Quality Assurance
- Develop and enforce data quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct data audits and root cause analysis for discrepancies.
- Collaborate with data engineers to maintain and enhance data infrastructure.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand data needs.
- Communicate complex data concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Serve as a liaison between the Data & Analytics team and other departments for collaboration.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics.
- Implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Share knowledge and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on experience with big data platforms (Databricks) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, Python, DAX, and machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Skilled in dashboarding and reporting using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC tools and Agile project management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading teams and collaborating across departments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience:
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.
