Summary
KPMG Global Services (KGS) is seeking an experienced Senior Associate 2 – PD Scrum Master in Bangalore, Karnataka to lead Agile teams, drive Scrum practices, and facilitate organizational Agile transformation. This role is perfect for professionals with hands-on experience in Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Agile coaching, who can manage multiple Agile teams, optimize delivery processes, and improve team performance. The candidate will work closely with Product Owners, development teams, QA, and design teams to ensure predictable delivery, high-quality outcomes, and enhanced team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a servant-leader and Agile coach for Scrum teams, promoting transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to define clear Sprint Goals, break down epics into actionable user stories, and prioritize value delivery.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration across development, QA, design, and product teams.
- Use JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile tools to maintain sprint boards, track progress, and generate actionable reports.
- Track and analyze Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, cumulative flow diagrams) to improve delivery performance.
- Facilitate dependency mapping, risk management, and stakeholder alignment across multiple teams.
- Identify and remove team-level and organizational impediments to improve productivity.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices, frameworks, and values to enhance team maturity.
- Lead organizational Agile transformation initiatives, including scaled frameworks like SAFe or LeSS.
- Foster a psychologically safe environment to encourage innovation, learning, and constructive feedback.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, and Agile principles.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile metrics tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and ensure sprint commitments are met efficiently.
- Expertise in coaching teams and improving Agile maturity.
- JIRA Automation for workflow optimization and dashboard customization (preferred).
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices, Program Increment (PI) planning, and ART coordination (preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working with distributed and hybrid teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM I/II, or SAFe Scrum Master are preferred.
- 6–8 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in Agile Project Management roles.
- Proven experience leading multiple Agile teams and facilitating end-to-end delivery of projects.
