Key Responsibilities
As a PwC GIS Associate in Mumbai, you will:
- Collaborate with teams and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in preparing Base Map GIS web portals and Existing Land Use Maps, including geo-referencing, cadastral map digitization, and integration of spatial data layers.
- Collect, compile, and manage geographic data from satellite imagery, UAV/LiDAR surveys, WMS services, Excel datasets, and government databases.
- Support GIS-based proposals, RFP preparation, and vendor onboarding.
- Conduct quality assurance, ground truthing, and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of spatial data.
- Perform spatial analysis to identify patterns, trends, and relationships relevant to regional and master planning goals.
- Develop maps, charts, and visualizations to effectively communicate spatial information to stakeholders.
- Assist in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports for clients.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficient with GIS software packages, including ESRI ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, CAD, and Google Earth Engine.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and Story Maps.
- Knowledge of Drone2Map processing and field data capture tools such as ArcGIS Field Maps, Survey123, and Collector for ArcGIS.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle client-facing responsibilities.
- Technical qualifications from a recognized university in GIS, Geoinformatics, or related disciplines.
