Key Responsibilities
IT General Controls & Risk Assessment
- Conduct ITGC reviews, IT internal audits, and controls testing.
- Evaluate IT operations including change management, user access, backup & recovery, and IT operations.
- Apply IT risk assessment methodologies throughout the assessment lifecycle from scoping to deliverables.
Compliance & Standards
- Implement and assess adherence to ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 22301, ISO 27701, and other regulatory standards.
- Perform compliance reviews and provide recommendations for enhanced IT governance.
- Assess third-party risk management frameworks and controls.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Interview client stakeholders and conduct walkthroughs to gather evidence.
- Develop assessment artifacts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
- Communicate complex IT risk issues clearly and provide actionable recommendations.
Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing
- Assist in optimizing IT risk frameworks and internal audit methodologies.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in cybersecurity, IT compliance, and risk technology.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and mentoring junior associates.
Mandatory Skills
- ITGC reviews and IT internal audits
- Controls testing and compliance assessments
- ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST reviews
Preferred Skills
- Experience with IT risk advisory across industries
- Prior experience in Big 4 consulting firms
- Certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CISM
Qualifications
- Education: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / MCA / MBA / MCom / CA / CS
- Experience: 2–8 years in IT risk advisory, IT audits, or internal control assessments
