Key Responsibilities
- Conduct IT General Controls (ITGC) reviews, IT internal audits, and controls testing.
- Perform compliance assessments against standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 22301, ISO 27701, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Assess IT operations, change management, user access management, backup and recovery management, and third-party risk management.
- Develop assessment artifacts by interviewing client stakeholders and conducting walkthroughs.
- Manage the full assessment lifecycle from scoping to final deliverables.
- Present findings and solutions clearly to senior management and client stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation including process overviews, test results, and recommendations for remediation.
- Stay updated on emerging IT risk trends, industry best practices, and risk technologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in ITGC reviews, internal audits, and controls testing.
- Knowledge of IT risk assessment methodologies and IT compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex IT security and risk issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST reviews.
- Familiarity with Big 4 audit/assurance practices.
- Certification in CIA, CISA, or CISM is a plus.
Qualifications
- Education: BE/B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA, MCom, CA, or CS.
- Experience: 2–8 years in IT risk advisory, internal audit, or IT assurance roles.
