Summary
PwC India is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Senior Associate to join our Advisory – SAP Consulting team in Bangalore. In this role, you will help clients maximize the value of their SAP investments, providing end-to-end support across SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, cloud migrations, and SAP BTP implementations. You will lead technical design, system implementation, upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance for enterprise SAP environments. Ideal candidates possess hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, database management, cloud migration, and system performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver SAP projects, including requirement gathering, system analysis, technical design, and documentation.
- Implement and support SAP technical solutions, including greenfield and brownfield implementations, upgrades, migrations, and cloud projects.
- Manage SAP Basis activities such as system optimization, database migrations, high availability, disaster recovery, replication, and troubleshooting.
- Provide HANA and S/4HANA support, including performance tuning and system monitoring.
- Execute cloud migration projects on AWS, Azure, GCP, or HEC environments.
- Ensure SAP security and compliance across system landscapes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues at both application and database levels.
- Drive technology discussions, innovations, and adoption of best practices for SAP environments.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP and SAP cloud migrations (homogeneous & heterogeneous).
- Expertise in S/4HANA upgrades and SUM DMO.
- Experience in JAVA system migration, BO/BODS installation & configuration.
- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP architecture, and E2E implementations.
- Ability to troubleshoot performance, OOM, and CPU load issues effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with database management: HANA, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase ASE.
- OS-level expertise: Linux, RHEL, AIX.
- Knowledge of Solman, ITSM, Charm configuration, MSC, and alerts.
- Familiarity with system sizing, multi-tenancy, restore & recovery, replication, and system optimization techniques.
Qualifications
- BE/BTech, MBA, MCA, or CA from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 4+ years of SAP Basis technical experience.
