Responsibilities

Production Optimization & Engineering

• Analyze well and field performance to identify opportunities for production optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (reservoir, facilities, wells, and operations engineers) to execute production debottlenecking and operations schedule optimization.
• Champion data-driven or physics-based production optimization technologies.
• Conduct field production system health assessments and recommend improvements.
• Support operator teams to optimize schedules, reinstate offline volumes, enhance capacity, and minimize downtime.

Data & Technology Application

• Develop, deploy, and sustain technologies for production optimization.
• Conduct screening economic evaluations for well intervention and stimulation operations.
• Manage production data, measurement, and allocation quality assurance.
• Support enhancement and prioritization of proprietary production engineering technology.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Develop technical capabilities of team members through training and mentoring.
• Lead or support cross-functional global teams to drive operational excellence.

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline with minimum GPA 7.0.
• Minimum 2 years experience in production engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of inflow/outflow/flowline modeling, production well testing, network modeling, well design, stimulation technologies, artificial lift methods, and reservoir surveillance.
• Experience in production surveillance, troubleshooting, and optimization of well and field performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Hands-on experience with engineering analysis tools.

Preferred:

• Experience with IPM (GAP, PROSPER, Resolve), OFM, Hysys.
• Proficiency in Python, Matlab, C#, Power BI, SeeQ, XHQ.
• Experience with production database management (Energy Components, PI, SQL).
• Familiarity with Agile development practices, Azure Cloud, Databricks, and digital oilfield tools.
• Exposure to reservoir surveillance, well intervention, or operations support roles.
• Mentorship or team leadership experience.
