Summary

Deloitte India is hiring a Consultant – Generative AI (GenAI) and Data Science for its Sustainability & Emerging Assurance practice in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and Generative AI, combined with expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and emerging AI technologies.

As a GenAI Consultant, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions and ML models that solve real-world business problems, enhance decision-making, and create measurable impact. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Implement Generative AI solutions including RAG pipelines, LLM fine-tuning, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data (text, images, etc.) to derive actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML and AI models into scalable systems.
• Automate data workflows and improve data pipelines to ensure high-quality, reliable inputs for modeling.
• Communicate technical findings through dashboards, presentations, and reports for both technical and business stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging AI, GenAI, and machine learning trends to implement best practices.

Skills & Expertise

• Strong foundation in Statistics, Probability, Linear Algebra, and ML algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, LangChain, and Langgraph.
• Expertise in Generative AI technologies: LLMs, Hugging Face, vector databases, prompt engineering.
• Practical knowledge of Traditional ML algorithms: Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, XGBoost, Clustering, NLP.
• Experience with large datasets, SQL/NoSQL databases, and data preprocessing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and deployment frameworks: Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI, Flask.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Prior experience in data science, machine learning, or AI project delivery preferred.
• Ability to travel to client locations as per project requirements.
• Strong collaboration and team-oriented mindset with a consulting approach.
