Summary
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP is seeking a Senior Consultant – Finance Transformation, Strategy & Operations for its Enterprise Technology & Performance (ET&P) team in Bengaluru. This is an exciting opportunity for finance and consulting professionals with 6–10 years of experience in finance strategy, business process re-engineering, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
In this role, you will partner with CFOs and finance leaders to design and implement innovative operating models, optimize finance operations, and drive enterprise-wide digital transformation. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant – Finance Transformation, you will:
- Partner with clients to assess finance operations, identify gaps, and design future operating models.
- Lead finance strategy initiatives including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and performance management.
- Support CFOs in building finance transformation roadmaps aligned with enterprise goals.
- Deliver projects across:
- Finance Strategy – streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Business Process Re-engineering – standardize and simplify finance workflows.
- Fast Close & Reporting – optimize month-end closing and external reporting.
- Value Engineering – define effective KPIs and performance measures.
- Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting – enable robust FP&A processes supported by technology.
- Provide advisory services to improve decision-making and strengthen stakeholder management.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, business analysis, and forecasting.
- Hands-on experience in budgeting, planning, and reporting processes.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and present actionable recommendations.
- Techno-functional expertise in planning tools such as Anaplan, SAP BPC, or similar.
- Strong consulting acumen with client-facing experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering.
- 6–10 years of experience in consulting, finance transformation, or enterprise performance management.
- Proven experience in end-to-end FP&A technology enablement projects.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence strategic decision-making.
- Willingness to travel for client projects (domestic and international).
