Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to technical streams of SAP BI/BW HANA cloud implementation projects.
- Work closely with onsite coordinators and client stakeholders.
- Plan, monitor, and deliver project outcomes within timelines.
- Provide regular project status updates to managers and client representatives.
- Mentor team members on project execution and best practices.
- Travel to client sites when required.
People Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a culture of quality within the team.
- Manage performance evaluations of direct reportees.
- Foster teamwork and lead by example.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Participate in organization-wide people initiatives.
Technical Skills & Expertise
- Hands-on expertise in SAP BW on HANA system architecture, performance optimization, and lifecycle management.
- Strong in SAP BI/BW back-end development, configuration, and testing.
- Proficient in developing custom BW objects using Layered Scalable Architecture (LSA).
- Skilled in transformations, DTPs, formulas, and data load management.
- Experience with BEx queries and SAP BW Data Warehouse reporting.
- Knowledge of Business Objects (BO) reporting support and development.
- Strong ability in system performance tuning and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, unit testing, and integration testing support.
Qualifications
- Education: MBA or equivalent degree with strong academics (preferred in Finance, Economics, or Management).
- Experience: 3–7 years of relevant SAP BI/BW HANA consulting experience.
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, analytical thinking, adaptability, client communication, and leadership.
