Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Scientist – AI & Data at EY, you will:
- Design and implement state-of-the-art AI and Generative AI solutions.
- Build and deploy language models (LLMs) and advanced NLP applications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define AI-driven use cases.
- Integrate APIs and tools like Azure OpenAI GPT and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Work with vector databases (Redis, NoSQL) for large-scale AI datasets.
- Develop and optimize end-to-end AI/ML pipelines with MLOps practices.
- Implement similarity search algorithms for enterprise AI applications.
- Conduct research in transfer learning, domain adaptation, and model compression.
- Ensure data privacy, ethics, and compliance in AI development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless AI deployment in cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- 3–7 years of professional experience in Data Science & Machine Learning.
- Strong expertise in Generative AI, NLP, LLMs (BERT, GPT, Transformers).
- Proficiency in Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Knowledge of Computer Vision techniques (image recognition, object detection, generation).
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Strong data engineering skills: data curation, preprocessing, and cleaning.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with global teams.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Trusted AI practices (fairness, accountability, transparency).
- Knowledge of Optimization tools (MIP, optimization techniques).
- Hands-on with DevOps/MLOps practices – CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, scaling.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Strong research mindset with up-to-date knowledge of AI advancements.
