💼 Responsibilities

  • Configure SAP Controlling (CO) module to meet business requirements, ensuring integration with other SAP modules and non‑SAP systems; follow best practices & SAP standard templates.
  • Support greenfield and brownfield implementations, global template roll‐outs, version upgrades, pilot runs, and application maintenance.
  • Lead Fit‑Gap workshops; identify where standard SAP CO meets needs vs where customizations are necessary.
  • Define enterprise structures: operating concern, parallel valuations (multiple currencies), versions for CO components.
  • Implement general controlling processes: cost element accounting, overhead cost controlling, internal orders, CapEx/Opex processes.
  • Define & manage product costing for various manufacturing models: Make to Stock (MTS), Make to Order (MTO), Repetitive Manufacturing, product cost collectors (PCC).
  • Maintain Material Ledger: multiple valuations (legal, group, profit center), actual costing, transfer pricing.
  • Collaborate with logistics, order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay teams to define end‑to‑end value flow: sales order costing, stock movement, intercompany billing, subcontracting, vendor consignment etc.
  • Support period‑end close in CO: overhead assessments, IO settlements, production/WIP/variance analysis, activity price calculations, issue resolution.
  • Document the implemented CO solutions; prepare configuration specs, RICEFW objects, business process documents. Prepare training material and conduct key‑user & end‑user training.
  • Handle Level‑2 / Level‑3 incident management; manage problem records; ensure SLA compliance and resolution.

🛠️ Skills & Attributes

  • Solid knowledge of SAP Controlling functional domain: cost element accounting, product costing, material ledger, overhead controlling, internal orders.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori front‑end interfaces.
  • Ability to execute Fit‑Gap analysis and determine custom vs standard functionality.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills (for cost variances, production order processing, inventory valuation).
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills: with business users, finance, logistics, production.
  • Commitment to best practices, SAP standards, documentation, and maintaining solution quality.

Must‑Have:

  • 1‑3 years of hands‑on experience as SAP CO Consultant in Controlling / Finance CO roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience configuring SAP CO module, participating in implementations, upgrades or roll‑outs.

Nice‑to‑Have:

  • Prior exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformations / migrations.
  • Knowledge of Fiori apps & front‑end usage.
  • Experience in Production Planning (BOM, Routing, Activity Based Costing), managing complexity (by‑product / co‑product, stock movements etc.).
  • Ability to prepare training materials, lead user trainings.
