Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Manager, you will:

• Send enquiries and orders to suppliers/vendors, evaluate quotations, and negotiate terms.
• Finalize procurement approvals with department heads and directors.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and verify invoices against purchase orders.
• Direct and coordinate purchasing, warehousing, logistics, and distribution to control costs.
• Streamline supply chain activities for efficiency and safety compliance.
• Maintain stock levels, verify dispatch documents, and ensure operational excellence.
• Oversee imported material planning and daily supplier coordination for shipments.
• Develop and manage supply forecasts and demand planning.
• Analyze inventory to optimize stock turns and reduce waste.
• Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders.
• Implement improved supply chain processes and systems.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Supervise purchasing, material planning, inventory control, and warehouse activities.
• Document workflows, supply chain processes, and operational procedures.
• Manage fleet operations including route planning and logistics management.
• Conduct physical stock counts, reconciliations, and compliance audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering or Science.
• 10–18 years of experience in procurement, purchase, or supply chain roles within manufacturing or construction.
• Proven track record of career growth and success in prior roles.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and supply chain planning skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration abilities.
• Dependable, motivated, and capable of handling large-scale procurement operations.
