Key Responsibilities
As a Global IT Data Engineer Manager at BCG, you will:
- Develop data ingestion strategies from multiple sources using Fivetran, Python, AWS Glue, Snowpipes, etc.
- Design and implement data pipelines to feed models for analytics and business insights.
- Conduct system validation and API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve user support issues within functional squads.
- Perform research on emerging tools and techniques to improve data engineering efficiency.
- Lead data governance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in Ingestion, Integration, and ETL processes.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in Snowflake data platforms.
- Strong command of Fivetran, DBT, AWS Glue, and Python.
- Data modeling skills (logical & physical).
- Knowledge of data integration platforms such as Mulesoft (preferred).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork across global environments, problem-solving mindset, and ability to document and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
