Key Responsibilities

As a BI&A Associate at BCG Gurgaon, you will:

• Support financial reporting and analytics needs across BCG’s global business segments.
• Work closely with senior finance and business leaders to provide data-driven insights.
• Manage day-to-day reporting and ad-hoc analysis using BI tools and dashboards.
• Navigate and interpret financial data to support global decision-making.
• Collaborate with local, regional, and global finance teams to deliver accurate and timely reports.
• Assist in developing data models, analyzing large datasets, and improving reporting processes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within finance and analytics functions.

Skills & Competencies

You should be strong in:

• Finance & Analytics: Understanding P&L, balance sheets, and key financial metrics.
• BI Tools Expertise: Power BI, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, Alteryx, Oracle Financials, Hyperion.
• Problem-Solving: Structuring hypotheses, building data-driven insights, and clarifying complex issues.
• Data Analysis: Handling large datasets, ensuring accuracy, and identifying dependencies.
• Collaboration: Working effectively with global stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Communication: Clear written and verbal skills for presenting insights to leadership.
• Adaptability: Thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and iterative work environment.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you’ll need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 1–2 years of finance or analytics experience (preferably in professional services/MNCs).
• Strong financial knowledge and hands-on experience in reporting & analysis.
• Proficiency with advanced Excel and exposure to BI/analytics tools.
• Flexibility to collaborate across time zones.
