Summary
Deloitte India is seeking a skilled Consultant – Oracle HCM Absence to join the Human Capital Transformation team in Kolkata. This role is ideal for HR technology professionals with 3+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud HCM Absence and OTL modules, including multiple life cycle implementations. The Oracle HCM Absence Consultant will configure and implement Absence and Time & Labor (OTL) modules, support end-to-end project delivery, and provide training and post-go-live support. This position offers an opportunity to drive HR digital transformation, optimize leave and time management processes, and deliver impactful solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities
As a Consultant – Oracle HCM Absence, your responsibilities include:
- Implement Oracle HCM Absence and OTL modules across client environments.
- Configure absence types, plans, accrual logics, validations, restrictions, and approval workflows.
- Configure Time & Labor (OTL) modules, including timecards, processing profiles, and approval workflows.
- Participate in full project lifecycle: workshops, requirement gathering, design, configuration, CRPs, testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live.
- Assist with data migration, integration with third-party solutions, and system testing.
- Create functional design documents and provide end-user training to HR teams, managers, and employees.
- Apply best practices for HR business processes, cross-pillar dependencies, and system optimizations.
- Stay updated on Oracle HCM Cloud enhancements and recommend system improvements.
- Support Page Personalization and advanced configurations to enhance system usability.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud HCM Absence and OTL modules.
- Experience with 4 or more full life cycle implementations.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, cross-pillar dependencies, and system configurations.
- Proficiency in Fast Formulas, Page Personalization, and OTL/Absence approvals.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to deliver projects on time and ensure quality outcomes.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Oracle Cloud HCM Absence module.
- Familiarity with integration platforms like LinkedIn, Zoom, MS Teams, etc.
Location & Working Model
- Base location: PAN India (primarily Kolkata)
- Hybrid work model with occasional client site visits.
