Responsibilities
As an IT Analyst Applications (OneStream Technology Analyst) at Caterpillar, you will:
- Provide technical support for OneStream platform, BPC, MDM & EDW applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring smooth financial system operations.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate OneStream with other systems.
- Monitor system performance, controls, and version control.
- Support data import processes and explain data lineage within OneStream.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, processes, and configurations.
- Conduct end-user training sessions to improve adoption and usage.
- Stay updated on OneStream upgrades and features.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Hands-on experience in OneStream, month-end close/consolidation, and management reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL queries, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in metadata, business rules, logic script, cube views, workflows, reports, and dashboards within OneStream.
- Familiarity with application design, architecture, system testing, and implementation methodologies.
- Experience in system integration and data management projects.
