This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–10 years of expertise in R2R accounting, financial reporting, Oracle ERP, and US GAAP/IFRS compliance. Key Responsibilities
As a Manager Accounting (R2R) at Caterpillar, you will:
- Manage Record to Report (RTR) activities for multiple global regions.
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports in line with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- Oversee accounting policies, liaising with auditors, tax examiners, and regulators.
- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Handle complex accounting areas such as loans, leases, borrowings, and financial instruments.
- Ensure smooth month-end closings, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–10 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and IND AS.
- Hands-on expertise in R2R processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Proficiency in Oracle ERP (highly preferred).
- Prior experience in captive shared services or large financial service organizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to work in US time zones.
