EY is hiring a Senior Consultant – Identity & Access Management (IAM) with Okta expertise to join its Cybersecurity Risk Consulting practice in Kolkata, India. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with 5–8 years of IAM consulting experience and deep hands-on expertise in Okta, PingFed, and related Access Management tools.
As a Senior IAM (Okta) Consultant at EY, you will design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide IAM solutions, oversee application onboarding, and strengthen security operations for global clients. Key Responsibilities
- Lead Identity & Access Management (IAM) projects with a focus on Okta solutions.
- Design, configure, and deploy Okta-based IAM solutions, including integration with AD, LDAP, Azure AD, and Oracle AD.
- Manage application onboarding, custom UI development, branding, and workflows.
- Perform process walkthroughs, troubleshooting, and resolution of IAM issues.
- Implement and configure authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, WS-Fed, SWA).
- Define and enforce risk-based MFA policies and access control strategies.
- Perform risk assessments and threat modeling with engineering teams.
- Collaborate with clients in solution design, requirement gathering, and delivery.
- Mentor junior team members, contribute to training, and support recruitment.
- Document technical processes and contribute to the EY internal knowledge base.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong hands-on experience in Okta IAM solutions (2–6 implementations).
- Expertise in Okta Access Gateway, Okta Advanced Server Access, Okta Workflows.
- Proficiency in APIs, custom integrations, SCIM, XML, HTML, CSS, branding.
- Understanding of RBAC, ABAC, provisioning, password management, governance.
- Knowledge of directory integration (AD, LDAP, Azure AD).
- Experience with risk-based authentication, adaptive MFA, and access security.
- Programming/scripting in Java, Python, or Unix Shell scripting.
- Strong communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent) with strong technical foundation.
- 5–8 years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with proven Okta expertise.
- Practical experience with Access Management tools like Okta and PingFed.
- Strong knowledge of IAM protocols, federation, and multi-factor authentication.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or IAM-specific credentials (preferred).
