Key Responsibilities
As a Senior / Assistant Manager – FAAS at EY Kochi, you will:
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Provide technical accounting support under IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP.
- Deliver end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) services for global clients.
- Develop tools, SOPs, and training materials to support project delivery.
- Conduct variance analysis, financial statement reviews, and MIS reporting.
- Partner with client treasury teams on cash flow forecasting, liquidity, and financial risk management.
- Ensure compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and EY quality standards.
- Support proposals, new service offerings, and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with senior managers, EY teams, and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP.
- Expertise in at least three of the following:
- Record to Report
- Business unit/entity-level reporting
- Financial statement close process support
- Consolidation and technical accounting advisory
- Treasury processes (cash management, hedge accounting, M&A support)
- Experience in SAP S4/HANA and other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with treasury technologies and tools (SAC, FloQast, Concur, Ariba, Active Disclosures, FIS).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (preferred).
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to travel on short notice if required.
Qualifications
- B.Com, CA (Inter), CWA (Inter), ACCA (UK), Diploma in IFR, or MBA (Full-time/Part-time) from a recognized institute.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, R2R, and treasury processes.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification is a plus.
