Key Responsibilities
As a SAP BTP Developer/Manager at EY, you will:
- Build and extend SAP Fiori applications using Business Application Studio (BAS).
- Implement all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Design secure and user-friendly SAP UI solutions.
- Deliver hot fixes for critical issues and ensure smooth configurations.
- Lead and mentor junior/mid-level SAP developers in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Develop scalable and secure SAP BTP applications.
- Design and enhance frameworks, core functionalities, and extensions.
- Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and provide progress updates.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies to drive innovation.
Required Skills & Competencies
Mandatory Skills
- SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori: Expertise in developing and extending Fiori applications.
- Core Data Services (CDS): Hands-on experience in CDS development.
- ABAP RAP: Strong experience in developing RESTful services using ABAP RAP.
- OData Services: Proficient in developing and consuming OData services.
- SAP BTP: Understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform services.
- Basic ABAP knowledge for backend integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Gateway and HANA Cloud Connector.
- Proficiency in ABAP, OO ABAP, and BAdI implementations.
- Workflow and OData provisioning experience.
- Testing expertise for OData services.
- SAP certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
Qualifications
- Education: BE/BTech/MCA (or equivalent).
- Experience: 7–11 years of SAP development with proven expertise in BTP, CDS, RAP, and Fiori.
- SAP certification in relevant technologies is a plus.
