Key Responsibilities

As a SAP CO Manager at EY Kochi, you will:

  • Configure SAP Controlling (CO) module, ensuring integration with FI, MM, SD, and PP.
  • Lead greenfield and brownfield S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and AMS support.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis, workshops, and solution design following SAP best practices.
  • Define enterprise structures: controlling areas, operating concerns, parallel valuations, multiple currencies.
  • Implement product costing for MTS, MTO, and Repetitive Manufacturing (PCC).
  • Set up Material Ledger with legal, group, and profit center valuations including transfer pricing.
  • Support E2E value flows across logistics, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and production planning.
  • Implement and support Margin Analysis (COPA), including top-down distributions, planning, and reporting.
  • Manage period-end close activities (WIP, variance analysis, settlements, revaluations, costing runs).
  • Document processes, prepare training materials, and conduct end-user and key-user trainings.
  • Handle incident/problem management (L2/L3), ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Provide functional specifications (RICEFW objects) and guide business process documentation.

Skills & Expertise Required

  • Strong SAP CO functional expertise, including Cost Element Accounting, Internal Orders, Overheads, Capex/Opex, COPA.
  • Experience in product costing, profitability analysis, material ledger, transfer pricing, and valuations.
  • Knowledge of integration points between FI, MM, SD, PP, and CO.
  • Familiarity with SAP FIORI apps as a front-end tool.
  • Exposure to SAP PP concepts (BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Subcontracting, By-products, Co-products).
  • Hands-on experience in period-end closing and month-end financial reconciliation.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA transformations (greenfield, brownfield, rollouts).
  • Strong documentation, training, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Incident management (L2/L3) experience with IDocs, PEC jobs monitoring.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of SAP Controlling (CO) experience with at least 2–3 full cycle implementations.
  • Manager-level consulting experience in technology or finance transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of SAP best practices, templates, and global rollout methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, IT, or related discipline.
  • SAP CO / S/4HANA certifications are highly preferred.
