Key Responsibilities

Data Science & Analytics

• Design and implement machine learning and AI models for predictive analytics and business insights.
• Build scalable statistical models and integrate them into enterprise applications.
• Perform data mining, transformation, and orchestration using platforms like Databricks.
• Develop forecasting models to analyze large datasets and identify business trends.
• Create intuitive and interactive data visualizations using Tableau, R Shiny, or Plotly.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with business leaders to identify analytical opportunities and build data-driven strategies.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Database teams to ensure smooth data integration and workflow design.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a culture of collaboration, growth, and innovation.
• Advocate for data-driven decision-making across business functions.

Innovation & Problem Solving

• Apply generative AI and advanced analytics to develop innovative solutions.
• Explore synthetic data generation, simulation, and scenario modeling for business cases.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance EY’s data science capabilities.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong expertise in AI/ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and cloud-based AI platforms (AWS, Spark, Hadoop).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Plotly, R Shiny).
• Knowledge of MLOps, ETL pipelines, GitHub, and statistical packages (MLlib, SciKit-Learn, Statsmodels).
• Excellent problem-solving, storytelling, and communication skills.
• Business acumen with domain knowledge in healthcare, life sciences, or related sectors is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple global projects and deliver results in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in AI, ML, or data science projects.
• Experience in predictive modeling, clustering, segmentation, and deep learning.
• Familiarity with generative AI frameworks, IICS/DMS, and agile methodologies (SAFe Agile, Waterfall, Iterative).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in globally distributed teams.
