Key Responsibilities
As a Sr. Instrumentation Engineer at QatarEnergy, you will:
- Deliver technical design and engineering services for instrumentation and control systems.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, schedule, cost, and HSE standards.
- Identify, interpret, and apply relevant engineering standards and international codes.
- Provide engineering expertise across multiple Oil & Gas projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate with project teams to optimize technical performance and compliance.
- Maintain documentation, technical reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of relevant post-graduate experience in engineering.
- At least 6 years of Oil & Gas industry experience in instrumentation engineering.
- Strong knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality within project environments.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills in English.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status (or equivalent) is preferable.
