Key Responsibilities
As a Sr. Technical Assistant (Stock Analysis) at QatarEnergy, your main duties will include:
- Coordinating and supporting stock optimization activities to maintain efficient inventory levels.
- Reviewing and processing SPIRs, SPF, code change, and obsolescence requests in coordination with project teams.
- Validating material data and expediting handover of materials to ensure timely stock availability.
- Assisting in forecasting material requirements and analyzing spare parts demand trends.
- Collaborating with planning engineers, project engineers, and supply chain teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Identifying obsolete stock and ensuring systematic elimination to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years’ experience in oil & gas operations, stock analysis, or materials management.
- Strong knowledge of engineering materials, industry standards, and spare parts interchangeability.
- Expertise in spare parts inventory control systems and ERP environments.
- Analytical skills in forecasting material requirements and stock optimization.
- Excellent technical communication skills with planning and project engineers.
- Comprehensive understanding of oil & gas and petrochemical industry materials management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, computer applications, and supply chain processes.
- Strong command of verbal and written English.
Educational Qualifications
- HND in Engineering, Materials Management, or Economic Studies, or equivalent qualification.
