Key Responsibilities
As a QatarEnergy Field Operator I, you will:
- Operate and adjust production facilities and process equipment within assigned limits.
- Work under the direction of a General Operator or Senior Operator.
- Ensure maximum recovery and injection during each shift.
- Perform standby duty on a rotational basis, especially in wellhead operations.
- Work across multiple facilities including degassing stations, stripping plants, compressor stations, injection stations, wellheads, and pipelines.
- Monitor plant processes, maintain safe operations, and ensure compliance with QatarEnergy safety standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in operating process plants within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of production operations, equipment handling, and safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in rotational and shift-based schedules.
- Good communication skills: fluent in oral and reading, fair in written English.
Educational Qualifications
- Secondary (12 years) education.
- 3 years of formal technical training in process plant operations.
- Completion of relevant short courses in safety, plant operations, or equivalent.
- For Qatari nationals: TAFE or equivalent qualification accepted.
