Summary
QatarEnergy is seeking an experienced Senior Drilling Supervisor to serve as the company’s representative on offshore jack-up drilling rigs. This role is critical to ensuring that all drilling operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with corporate objectives. The successful candidate will bring extensive knowledge of offshore drilling, workover operations, and horizontal well drilling, with strong leadership and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Drilling Supervisor at QatarEnergy, you will:
- Act as the QatarEnergy company representative on offshore jack-up rigs.
- Supervise and manage all drilling operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Oversee rig activities, drilling contractors, and service providers.
- Ensure operations are conducted within budget, timelines, and HSE standards.
- Monitor drilling progress and troubleshoot operational challenges.
- Manage workover operations in gas and horizontal wells (preferred).
- Report drilling activities, performance, and incidents to senior management.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 15+ years of drilling experience, including 5 years as an Offshore Drilling Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of workover operations in gas and horizontal wells.
- Proven leadership and ability to direct rig crews and contractors.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills under high-pressure situations.
- Strong focus on HSE compliance and operational efficiency.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
- IWCF Supervisor Level certification (mandatory).
