Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer at ADNOC Onshore, you will:
- Oversee the operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical equipment across onshore facilities.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for transformers, switchgear, motors, and power distribution systems.
- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and electrical safety standards.
- Analyze and troubleshoot electrical failures to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Lead and guide maintenance teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams for upgrades and repairs.
- Prepare reports, budgets, and recommendations for electrical asset management.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in electrical engineering, power systems, and industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of oil & gas industry electrical systems and international standards.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and maintenance software.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8–12+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within oil & gas or heavy industry.
- Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards.
- Experience working in onshore oil & gas environments is highly desirable.
