Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager – Siemens Energy India, you will:
- Lead and organize industrial project execution ensuring alignment with technical, financial, quality, and timeline goals.
- Implement Siemens’ policies, guidelines, and project management processes across multiple functions.
- Manage cross-functional project teams in engineering, procurement, testing, commissioning, and quality control.
- Oversee project deliverables including design approvals, prototype development, testing, commissioning, and contract closure.
- Support sales and bid teams by providing technical inputs and proposal support.
- Maintain customer relationships and represent Siemens in technical and commercial discussions.
- Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) standards across sites.
- Drive project governance, reporting, and milestone reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervise vendor evaluation, risk and opportunity management, and change-order processes.
- Guide workforce development and foster a culture of leadership, teamwork, and consultative selling.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and execution strategies.
- Expertise in Fiber, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Industrial Applications.
- Hands-on experience with LV & HT Systems, Siemens Drives & Automation, LV Motors Dimensioning, and PCS 7 Process Control Systems.
- Ability to manage customer relationships, handle negotiations, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage technical and commercial project aspects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- BE/BTech in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- 8–10 years of proven project management experience in industrial domains (Fiber, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Biofuels, Marine Solutions preferred).
- Experience in international and cross-functional projects is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and leadership background with a successful track record.
- Willingness to travel across India.
- High integrity, ownership, and professional attitude.
