Key Responsibilities

  • Identify gaps in supplier quality systems (quality, delivery, operational alignment) and drive corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely closure of 8D reports (DMR – Defective Material Reports) with suppliers.
  • Investigate and resolve supplier technical/system issues related to product realization.
  • Train suppliers on 8D requirements and compliance procedures.
  • Analyze supplier issues using statistical and analytical tools for continuous improvement.
  • Implement and monitor CAPA, CARs, and process efficiency measures.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure on-time resolution of supplier quality challenges.
  • Provide data analysis to support business growth and supplier performance initiatives.
  • Deliver customer-centric solutions by anticipating requirements and ensuring defect-free supply.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in supplier quality management, performance improvement, or supplier engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools (8D, CAPA, CAR, DMR).
  • Experience with supplier audits, compliance, and vendor training.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with global teams.
