Key Responsibilities
- Conduct global IT audits across Abbott’s international and domestic organizations.
- Assess the design and effectiveness of IT controls, governance frameworks, and security solutions.
- Execute risk-based audits to ensure adequate coverage of IT processes, ERP systems, and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Identify control gaps and risk exposures; recommend practical mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain audit documentation in compliance with departmental standards.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, IT risks, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with Corporate Audit teams to enhance audit coverage and IT risk management practices.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline.
- 1.5–3+ years of IT Audit or Information Security experience (consulting or Big 4/public accounting preferred).
- Strong understanding of Application, Platform, and General IT Controls.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with ERP auditing (SAP preferred).
- Knowledge of SOX compliance, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS auditing.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, IT risk management frameworks.
- Professional certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, HCISPP, CIPP.
- Manufacturing or international business exposure.
- Foreign language skills (a plus).
