Key Responsibilities
As a Market Risk Consultant / Manager at Deloitte, you will:
- Develop and implement regulatory compliance and risk management strategies.
- Lead compliance transformation projects using technology and analytics.
- Conduct compliance maturity assessments and identify process improvements.
- Use data analytics and machine learning models to support risk monitoring.
- Manage and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Deliver financial risk assessments, control compliance checks, and CFO dashboards.
- Support statutory and internal auditors with analytics-based risk assessment.
- Guide end-to-end risk and compliance solutions across industries.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to Deloitte’s growing analytics capability.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong background in regulatory compliance, financial risk, and actuarial consulting.
- Hands-on expertise in risk analytics, compliance transformation, and process optimization.
- Knowledge of CFO dashboards, CCM/CTM, contract risk, and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in machine learning and deep learning techniques (preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities for client-facing roles.
- Ability to translate business requirements into analytics and risk constructs.
Qualifications
- Senior Pension Actuaries – Fellow actuaries with a Certificate of Practice for pensions (up to Associate Director).
- Junior Actuaries – 3–4 years of experience in pensions.
- Graduates/Postgraduates in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Preferred: Certifications in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Risk Analytics (GitHub, Kaggle, Hackerrank profiles are a plus).
