Key Responsibilities
As a Consultant – SAP ABAP at Deloitte Bengaluru, you will:
- Develop and customize SAP ABAP objects, classes, events, and methods.
- Work on User-exits, BADIs, ALE/IDOCs, Forms, Adobe Forms, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate as an implementation team member in SAP projects.
- Work directly at client locations when needed, ensuring strong client-facing interactions.
- Deliver high-quality code and solutions aligned with Deloitte standards.
- Support testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of SAP applications.
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Core SAP ABAP programming and object-oriented ABAP.
- Experience with User-exits, BADIs, ALE/IDOCs, Adobe Forms, and performance tuning.
- 2–4 end-to-end SAP ABAP implementations.
- Excellent problem-solving and client communication skills.
Education:
- Graduate degree in Science or Engineering (preferably from premier institutes).
Other Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for short or long-term assignments.
- Ability to work in hybrid environments with cross-functional teams.
