Responsibilities
As a SAP Commerce Developer / Hybris Consultant at Deloitte, you will:
- Provide L1 & L2 support for SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce Cloud).
- Troubleshoot issues, debug code, and resolve defects within agreed SLAs.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with business users to resolve functional issues.
- Perform system maintenance, patch updates, and tuning.
- Develop backend and frontend code for SAP Commerce applications.
- Document best practices, SOPs, and technical resolutions.
- Lead design, development, and implementation using SAP Commerce.
- Manage integrations with payment processors, CDN, social media, analytics tools.
- Perform unit, system, integration, and performance testing.
- Support project milestones, working closely with QA, Operations, and Development teams.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Strong expertise in SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform (B2C & B2B).
- Experience in Hybris customization, CMS, accelerators, and cockpit modules.
- Hands-on development using Java, J2EE, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, XML.
- Familiarity with Hybris back-office monitoring, Cron Jobs, ImpEx, logs & alerts.
- Knowledge of search engines (SOLR, Endeca) and caching/in-memory solutions.
- 3+ years in SAP Hybris development, configuration, and large-scale implementations.
Good-to-Have:
- Experience with Adobe AEM, WCMS, RESTful APIs, data modeling, tokenization.
- Knowledge of integrations with internal and third-party vendor systems.
- Expertise in testing/debugging across all levels.
- Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues.
- Exposure to project management tools such as JIRA, Rally, Git, Confluence.
