Key Responsibilities
As a Cyber Security Analyst (L4), you will:
- Monitor, safeguard, and analyze log sources and access controls
- Detect, prevent, and respond to cyberattacks, intrusions, and unauthorized activity
- Conduct log reviews, forensic analysis, and risk assessments
- Manage escalated incidents from L1 teams in a 24×7 SOC environment
- Plan and support disaster recovery and incident response procedures
- Use advanced analytics tools to identify emerging cyber threats
- Deliver reports, dashboards, and detailed analyses of incidents
- Maintain an information security risk register and support audits
- Assist in developing cybersecurity awareness training for employees
- Provide guidance on preventing phishing, spam, and malicious emails
Required Skills
- Mandatory Expertise: Security Log Monitoring
- Strong understanding of threat detection, SOC operations, SIEM tools, and forensic analysis
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and recommend security improvements
- Hands-on experience with incident response and vulnerability management
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–8 years in Cyber Security, SOC operations, or Information Security Analyst roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related discipline (preferred)
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) are a plus
