Deloitte India is hiring a Consultant – Digital Manufacturing Systems (MES) in Bengaluru to design, configure, and implement Siemens Opcenter MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) solutions for global clients. Key Responsibilities
As a Deloitte Consultant – MES Developer, you will:
- Configure and develop MES solutions using Siemens Opcenter MOM (Execution Discrete, Quality, APS).
- Customize UI, business logic, and workflows to match production requirements.
- Create and maintain manufacturing master data: materials, operations, routings, and equipment.
- Build ERP/PLM/MES integrations (SAP, SCADA, HMI, Teamcenter) using REST APIs, OPC UA, or web services.
- Develop technical documentation (specs, test cases, deployment plans).
- Perform unit testing, QA, UAT support, and resolve MES system issues.
- Ensure best practices in coding, version control, and DevOps pipelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–6 years of IT experience, with 2+ years in Siemens Opcenter MOM.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, C#/.NET, SQL, XML, Opcenter scripting APIs.
- Familiarity with ISA-95 models and discrete manufacturing operations.
- Experience in MES-ERP (SAP) integration using IDoc, BAPI, RFC.
- Knowledge of MES workflows: order management, routing, traceability, quality, and reporting.
- Exposure to Agile development & version control (Git, Azure DevOps).
Preferred Qualifications
- Siemens Opcenter certifications or product training.
- Domain knowledge in automotive, aerospace, electronics, or machinery.
- Experience with Teamcenter, TIA Portal, Opcenter RD&L.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
