Key Responsibilities
As a Power BI Consultant at Deloitte Bhubaneswar, you will:
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI solutions, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
- Build and manage Analysis Services reporting models.
- Import, transform, and model large-scale data sources for BI reporting.
- Implement row-level security and data security models in Power BI.
- Write DAX queries and advanced calculations to enable dynamic reporting.
- Create tabular and multidimensional models aligned with warehouse standards.
- Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports as per business needs.
- Integrate Power BI reports into applications via embedded analytics and APIs.
- Collaborate with process owners to understand as-is processes and design automation/BI solutions.
- Maintain proper documentation, testing procedures, and project methodology.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in Power BI development and administration.
- Proficiency in DAX queries, data modeling, and advanced BI calculations.
- Ability to translate complex data into visual insights and reports.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Data Warehouse, Microsoft Azure, PolyBase, Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of application security models and Power BI embedded analytics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience in requirement analysis, prototyping, and solution design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Prior experience in consulting and BI solution delivery.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Ability to work in client-facing environments and deliver scalable BI solutions.
