About the Role
Deloitte India is hiring a SOC Consultant with expertise in QRadar SIEM administration and cyber defense operations. As part of the Cyber – Defense & Response practice, you’ll play a key role in managing, monitoring, and enhancing QRadar SIEM, ensuring clients remain secure, vigilant, and resilient against evolving threats.

Key Responsibilities
- QRadar SIEM Administration – Install, configure, and manage QRadar components, including log sources, custom parsers, and correlation rules.
- Log Management – Integrate and optimize log ingestion from diverse sources (network, servers, applications, security tools).
- Threat Detection & Response – Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and support root cause analysis and remediation.
- Use Case Development – Design, implement, and fine-tune correlation rules, dashboards, and offenses for enhanced detection.
- Performance Optimization – Ensure system efficiency in high EPS environments, managing storage, event processing, and scaling.
- Integrations – Extend QRadar capabilities via APIs and connections with firewalls, EDR, DLP, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
- Incident Response Support – Collaborate with SOC analysts to contain, mitigate, and remediate incidents.
- Compliance Support – Align SOC operations with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR.
- Upgrades & Maintenance – Lead patching, version upgrades, and troubleshooting of QRadar infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Education – Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Experience – 3+ years of hands-on experience in:
- QRadar SIEM (installation, configuration, tuning, administration)
- SOC operations and security monitoring
- Threat detection and incident response
- Technical Skills – Knowledge of network security, IDS/IPS, EDR, and firewalls.
- Framework Knowledge – Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 27001.
- Bonus Skills – Scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Preferred Certifications
- IBM QRadar SIEM Certification (strongly preferred)
- CISSP / CEH / CISM / CISA or equivalent cybersecurity credentials
