KPMG Global Services (KGS) is hiring a Consultant in Transaction Execution within the Integration & Separation (I&S) Technology team in Deal Advisory. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for M&A advisory, financial integration, and operational transformation. As a Consultant, you will support pre-deal due diligence, integration, and separation projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, client workstream leads, and senior advisors. Key Responsibilities
Project Support & Delivery
- Provide daily support to the I&S management office (IMO/SMO) on integration and separation projects.
- Assist client workstream leads across multiple integration/separation engagements to achieve project objectives.
- Support cross-functional teams in implementing services, leading team interviews, and facilitating workshops.
- Develop, maintain, and present financial models and key deliverables.
- Contribute to synergy commentary reports and provide first drafts for critical sections.
Collaboration & Client Engagement
- Coordinate with onshore engagement teams to procure new engagements, clarify requirements, and communicate progress.
- Support senior colleagues in proposal preparation and business development initiatives.
Mandatory Skills
- MBA / Postgraduate degree in a related field from an accredited college/university.
- 1–5 years of experience in M&A transactions, integration, and separation within consulting or professional services.
- Familiarity with the full M&A lifecycle, including Day 1 Readiness, TSA, TOM development, and synergy planning.
- Strong project/program management experience and ability to handle multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, including Macros and VBA.
Preferred Skills
- International work experience is a plus.
- Strong presentation, report writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under high-pressure, dynamic, and ambiguous environments.
- Team-oriented with flexibility, drive, and the capability to work autonomously on client sites.
