Key Responsibilities
Policy Regulatory Advisor
- Advise on regulatory frameworks, competitive electricity markets, and tariff modeling.
- Lead regulatory reform initiatives, public consultations, and policy rulemaking.
- Support strategic planning, consumer protection, and regulatory oversight.
- Expertise in renewable energy, especially hydropower-dominant systems.
Economic Regulatory Advisor
- Conduct utility accounting, financial modeling, project finance, and tariff methodologies.
- Provide insights on power system economics, regulatory analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Engage with electricity regulatory entities, firms, or utilities.
Legal Regulatory Advisor
- Support power sector dispute resolution, contract negotiation, and review of PPAs and implementation agreements.
- Provide guidance on legal and regulatory frameworks for electricity markets.
Technical Regulatory Advisor
- Advise on power system planning, operations, benchmarking, and grid code compliance.
- Design and review tariff structures, service standards, and technical aspects of utility operations.
- Focus on renewable energy integration and hydropower-dominant systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of power sector regulations, utility operations, and renewable energy systems.
- Expertise in policy, economic, legal, or technical advisory in electricity markets.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or equivalent.
- MBA or equivalent from a reputed institution preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the power and utilities sector, regulatory authorities, or advisory roles.
- Hands-on experience in tariff modeling, regulatory frameworks, and renewable energy projects.
