📋 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize advanced Splunk queries using Search Processing Language (SPL) to support complex data transformations and security analytics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Splunk forwarders, indexing performance, and distributed data ingestion.
- Lead performance tuning and infrastructure optimization to ensure Splunk scalability and reliability.
- Conduct routine health checks, system upgrades, app deployments, and implement new features for enhanced platform functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate external systems with Splunk, focusing on security event logging and telemetry.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights through alerts, dashboards, reports, correlation searches, and workflow automation.
- Implement and maintain SOAR platforms, including developing custom automated incident response playbooks.
- Demonstrate expertise in Splunk architecture, content development, and infrastructure design for threat detection and compliance.
- Build and maintain custom Splunk apps, dashboards, data models, and reports tailored to SOC and executive requirements.

- Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise, Splunk SOAR, and related cybersecurity tools.
- Proficiency in SPL (Search Processing Language), dashboard creation, and workflow automation.
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring.
- Experience with data ingestion, correlation searches, and custom app development in Splunk.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and SOC operations.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for client and team collaboration.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and lead technical initiatives.
🎓 Qualifications
- B.E/B.Tech/Post Graduation in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in cyber transformation, Splunk development, and security operations.
- Prior experience in enterprise cybersecurity projects or consulting is preferred.
- Professional certifications in Splunk, cybersecurity, or incident response are a plus.
