Key Responsibilities
- Conduct application security testing using static (SAST), dynamic (DAST), and software composition analysis (SCA) tools.
- Implement and enforce secure coding practices across applications.
- Perform threat modeling sessions to identify potential security risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Review code for security vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to industry standards such as OWASP Top Ten.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech in any stream, M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) or MCA.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application security testing.
- Expertise with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
- Knowledge of secure coding standards and vulnerability remediation.
- Ability to conduct threat modeling sessions and risk assessments.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, or Fortify.
- Experience in penetration testing of web and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and enterprise security frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.
