Key Responsibilities
- Conduct application security testing using SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
- Implement and enforce secure coding practices across software development projects.
- Strategize and plan security testing across software lifecycle stages.
- Conduct threat modeling sessions to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to review code for vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to vulnerability assessment and penetration testing efforts.
- Stay updated on the latest security tools, methodologies, and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech, M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), or M.C.A.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in application security testing.
- Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
- Knowledge of secure coding standards (OWASP Top Ten, etc.).
- Ability to perform threat modeling and vulnerability assessments.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, or Fortify.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Practical experience in penetration testing and advanced security assessments.
- Exposure to consulting environments and client-facing roles.
- Understanding of application security frameworks and best practices.
- Ability to mentor junior team members on security standards and practices.
